Rooted in Tradition. Guided by Purpose.
Raised in India, surrounded by its rich traditions of spirituality and inner awareness, I developed, from a very early age, a deep appreciation for mindfulness, stillness, and the art of living consciously. Meditation has been an integral part of my life since 2006, a journey that continues to teach me the value of being present and approaching life with greater awareness, compassion, and gratitude. As a teacher with The Art of Living, sharing the transformative power of meditation is a natural extension of my own journey. Banyan was born from a simple belief: meditation is not about escaping life or becoming someone different, but about experiencing life more fully, with an open heart, a peaceful mind, and a deeper connection to who we truly are.

Founder, Banyan Initiative for Development
“For me, the beauty of meditation lies not in becoming someone different, but in gently rediscovering who we truly are.”
Wellbeing with Purpose
Banyan Initiative for Development is a volunteer-led, non-profit and non-governmental organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland, established under Articles 60–79 of the Swiss Civil Code. Banyan brings together guided meditation and mindfulness with a commitment to meaningful social impact. Through contributions generated by our meditation activities and partnerships with schools in India, we support educational opportunities for children from lower-middle-income families. Rooted in the belief that personal wellbeing and social responsibility go hand in hand, Banyan seeks to transform moments of inner awareness into opportunities for lasting change.
